They are typically found along the coasts of continents and are often home to a rich diversity of plant and animal life. Some examples of seas include the Mediterranean Sea, the Red Sea, and the Caribbean Sea. Seas are important sources of food and minerals, and they are also used for transportation, recreation, and as sources of energy.
Pandora (minor planet designation: 55 Pandora) is a fairly large and very bright asteroid in the asteroid belt.
