Kargilik County is a county in southwest of theĀ Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous RegionĀ and is under the administration of theĀ Kashgar Prefecture.
It contains an area of 28,600Ā kmĀ².
To the north, the county bordersĀ Makit County. To the east, the county bordersĀ Guma County inĀ Hotan Prefecture. To the west, the county bordersĀ Yarkant County,Ā Poskam CountyĀ andĀ Taxkorgan Tajik Autonomous County. In the south, the county has a border of more than 80Ā km (50Ā mi) withĀ PakistanĀ andĀ IndiaĀ administered areas of Kashmir.
