Parametric equation

A parametric equation in mathematics specifies a set of numbers as functions of one or more independent variables known as parameters. Parametric equations are widely used to express the coordinates of the points that make up a geometric object, such as a curve or surface, in which case the equations are referred to as the object’s parametric representation or parameterization (alternatively written as parametrisation).

  • Gouda, or “How-da” as the locals say, is a Dutch cheese named after the city of Gouda in the Netherlands.
  • If truth be told, it is one of the most popular cheeses in the world, accounting for 50 to 60% of the world’s cheese consumption.
  • It is a semi-hard cheese celebrated for its rich, unique flavour and smooth texture.
  • The original cheese markets in Gouda is one of the last standing commercial cheese markets in the Netherlands.
  • Since the name is not protected, it has become a generic classification for all cheeses produced and sold under the name Gouda.
  • Gouda is typically made from pasteurised cow’s milk although some artisan varieties use sheep’s or goat’s milk to produce cheeses that are going to be aged for a long time.
  • Boerenkaas is a typical variety of unpasteurised Gouda cheese produced by the farmers from the milk of cow’s grazing on the natural, low pastures of Netherlands.
  • There are seven different types of Gouda cheese, categorized depending on age.
  • Graskaas is young Gouda ready to be consumed within weeks of production.
  • On the other hand, is the extra aged, Overjarig cheese which has a full-flavoured, hard, golden interior and salty flavour reminiscent of toffee.
  • Between the spectrums is a variety of Dutch Gouda’s classified as per the texture and age – Jong, Jong belegen, Belegen, Extra belegen, and Oud.
  • Each cheese gets increasingly firmer in texture and richer in flavour than earlier classification.
  • The waxed rind of the cheese also changes by the age as soft, younger Dutch Gouda cheese are identified by yellow, orange, or red wax rinds white mature cheese have black wax coverings.

Cheese is a dairy product made from milk that comes in a variety of tastes, textures, and shapes thanks to the coagulation of the milk protein casein. It is made up of proteins and lipids derived from milk, often that of cows, buffalo, goats, or sheep. During the manufacturing process, the milk is frequently acidified and enzymes such as rennet or bacterial enzymes with comparable activity are added to cause the casein to coagulate. After that, the solid curds are separated from the liquid whey and pressed into finished cheese. Aromatic molds can be found on the rind, the outer layer, or throughout the cheese. Most cheeses melt when heated to cooking temperature.

Accredited Investor

An accredited investor is one who satisfies certain income, net worth, and qualifying requirements. While these standards differ by jurisdiction, accredited investors often include high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), financial institutions, banks, and significant enterprises. Accredited investors frequently have access to complicated investments that other investors do not, such as venture capital firms, hedge funds, and angel investment organizations. Authorized investors can benefit from high returns and enhanced diversification as well, albeit the sorts of investments available to accredited investors may be susceptible to higher risks, high minimum investment amounts, low liquidity, and higher fees.

Account Model

The account model is a blockchain architecture that allows for direct data and value transfer. Smart contract platforms, such as Ethereum, employ the account model, as opposed to the UTXO model used by the Bitcoin network, which limits smart contract possibilities. One possible disadvantage of the account model design is the difficulty in scaling transactions-per-second.

Account-Checker Tool

An account-checker is a software or application that runs a combolist of usernames and passwords against a set of target websites. Account-checker programs significantly improve the speed and efficiency with which an attacker can test a huge number of credentials on a diverse set of websites and service providers. These tools are typically employed by malevolent actors that want to profit and commit fraud or identity theft against the account owner to which they have gained access.

Account Abstraction Layer (AAL)

The Account Abstraction Layer (AAL) is the technological framework that enables the construction of smart contracts on the Qtum blockchain. Qtum’s basic layer adheres to the UTXO concept utilized by blockchains such as Bitcoin. The AAL on Qtum enables the Ethereum accounts concept to be “abstracted” or transferred in order to function on top of the UTXO architecture. Qtum’s AAL acts as a computer intermediary, allowing the UTXO and accounts models to communicate.

Acala USD Stablecoin (aUSD)

The Acala USD stablecoin (aUSD) is a stablecoin that works on the Acala Network blockchain and is tied to the US dollar at a 1:1 ratio. The aUSD currency enables the functioning of the Acala Network and is crucial to the Acala decentralized finance (DeFi) platform. Users can borrow USD after depositing cryptocurrency assets such as bitcoin (BTC), ether (ETH), or polkadot (DOT) using the Honzon stablecoin protocol’s Collateralized Debt Position (CDP).

AAVE Token

The AAVE token is an Ethereum-based ERC-20 asset that serves as the Aave blockchain protocol’s governance token. AAVE token holders can submit improvements to the AAVE protocol and vote to accept or refuse new ideas. AAVE coins, if widely distributed, are designed to eventually support the Aave platform’s autonomous and decentralized governance.

Aave is an Ethereum-based decentralized lending and borrowing network. Aave customers may obtain loans by pledging crypto holdings as collateral. Lenders that give collateral to Aave are rewarded with aTokens, which automatically pay interest to the bearer using platform trading fees. Aave invented ‘flash loans,’ which allow for the uncollateralized lending of cash as long as the principle is returned inside the same Ethereum transaction block.
